WordToResume is a free resume tool made by Ayeza Mehmood, a tool by DevRank. This page explains what happens to your information when you use it. We have tried to keep it plain and short.
What we do not ask for
You do not need an account. We do not ask for your password, payment details or a signup.
What you type in the chat
When you send a message, the text is sent to our server and then to an AI service, Cloudflare Workers AI, so it can be organised into resume sections. Your resume preview and your PDF are created in your browser.
We do not run a database of user resumes and we do not keep a copy of your finished resume on our own servers.
Only type what you want on your resume. Please do not type ID numbers, passwords, bank details or other sensitive data into the chat.
Technical information
Our hosting and AI provider, Cloudflare, may record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the time of a request. This is used to run the service, keep it secure and prevent abuse.
To limit each visitor to 5 chats per day, we store a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address together with a chat counter for up to 24 hours. We do not store the text of your chats there.
Your browser also remembers how many chats you have left today so the page can show it. This stays on your device.
Other services we use
- Cloudflare for hosting and for the AI that processes your chat messages.
- Google Fonts for the fonts on this site. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google.
Cookies
See our Cookie policy.
Children
WordToResume is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site works, for example by adding analytics or accounts, we will update this page and the date above.
